Seer of the Apparitions of Fatima She was born on March 5, 1910, in Aljustrel, where she lived with her brother Francisco and her cousin Lúcia dos Santos. She spent her time playing with them and tending a flock of sheep. She was an affectionate and emotionally fragile child. In 1917, the three little shepherds were blessed with an apparition of Our Lady. Jacinta had other private visions later on. She died on February 20, 1920, from pneumonic flu. Jacinta was beatified on May 13, 2000 and canonized on May 13, 2017, on the occasion of the centenary of the Apparitions of Fatima.
