Magnet of Saint Francis Marto

Saint Francisco Marto, Seer of the Apparitions of Fatima He was born on June 11, 1908, in Aljustrel, where he lived with his sister Jacinta and his cousin Lúcia dos Santos. He spent his time playing with them and tending a flock of sheep. He was a very calm and respectful boy. In 1917, the three little shepherds were blessed with an apparition of Our Lady. Francisco could only see her. He could not hear her. He died on April 4, 1919, a victim of pneumonic flu. Francisco was beatified on May 13, 2000 and canonized on May 13, 2017, on the occasion of the centenary of the Apparitions of Fatima.
