St. Mark's Magnet

Saint Mark, a disciple of Saint Peter, belonged to one of the first Christian families in the city of Jerusalem. Mark was the author of the Gospel in which he wrote about the life of Jesus.
Saint Mark was martyred at an Easter feast, at the moment when he was celebrating the 'breaking of bread'. His relics are kept in the Cathedral of Saint Mark in Venice.
