Statue of Saint Sebastian

Saint Sebastian of Narbonne was a Roman soldier who was martyred for professing his faith in Jesus Christ. He was born in Narbonne, France, in 256 AD and lived in Milan. He died in 286 AD. While carrying out his military mission, Saint Sebastian, whenever he could, and in secret, visited imprisoned Christians and helped the poor and sick. After being discovered, he was forced to renounce Christianity. He did not renounce his faith and was tortured. He survived his injuries and continued his mission. He was martyred again and died.
Saint Sebastian was a glorious martyr of Jesus Christ.
