Virgin of Almudena Magnet
Virgin of Almudena is a name for the Virgin Mary, venerated in Madrid, where she is the patron saint.
During the preaching of Santiago, around the year 38 AD, an image of the Virgin Mary was left in the ancient city of Madrid.
Later, in 712 AD, during the battle of Guadalete, the people, fearful, decided to hide it in the city walls.
300 years later it was found and returned to its altar.
