Born at the end of the 3rd century, Saint Pancratius was a martyr who died very young, around 14 years old.
He was the son of noble Christian parents and studied in Rome. Pancratius was persecuted and threatened by Emperor Diocletian, in the bloodiest persecution of Christians. He did not renounce his faith and was tortured and killed.
