Magnet Saint Beatrice of Silva
Beatrice, born in the 15th century in Portugal, was a girl devoted to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. Because she was very beautiful, she was the target of jealousy, and because of this envy she was punished and tortured. She was saved by the Virgin Mary and, as a sign of gratitude, dedicated herself to religious life. At the request of Our Lady, Saint Beatrice founded the Order of the Immaculate Conception Sisters, in honor of the Immaculate Conception.
At the moment of her death, rays of light came from her face and a bright star shone on her forehead.
