Isabel de Aragão, born at the end of the 13th century, in Spain, was an Aragonese infanta and queen consort of D. Dinis.

Saint Isabel, a very beautiful young woman, with a taste for prayer and the candid power to generate affection and reconciliation, dedicated her life to good works.
After the death of D. Dinis, Isabel retired to the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha, in Coimbra, spending part of her time in prayer and helping the poor.
