St. George Magnet
Saint George, born at the end of the 3rd century in Cappadocia (Türkiye), was a Roman soldier in Diocletian's army and a Christian martyr.
Moved by the cruelty with which Christians were treated, Saint George donated all his possessions to the poor and converted to Christianity.
Faced with this affront, and in a rage, the Emperor ordered him to be tortured, but Saint George did not renounce his Christian faith and was beheaded.
