Angel Magnet of Portugal

The Holy Guardian Angel of Portugal is the guardian angel of Portugal, whose feast day was instituted by Pope Julius II in 1504, at the request of King Manuel I of Portugal.

In 1916 the angel appeared to three children who were herding a flock of sheep, announcing the coming of Our Lady and teaching them to pray.
