Virgen del Rocio is a Marian invocation by which Mary is venerated.

According to tradition, an image of Our Lady was found by a hunter inside a tree trunk in Almonte, a town in the municipality of Huelva, in the Andalusia region of Spain, who recognized its miraculous gift.
From that moment on, a pilgrimage of faithful devotees began, who built a small chapel there, now the Sanctuary of Rocio.
