Virgin Magnet of the Forsaken
Our Lady of the Forsaken, patron saint of Valencia (Spain) alludes to a beautiful sculpture of the Virgin Mary, with the baby Jesus, which was sculpted by three angels.
In the 15th century, under the inspiration of Blessed Father Jofré, the Confraternity of the Helpless was founded to help the sick, shelter people with disabilities and provide a dignified burial for abandoned corpses.
A chapel was built and, through divine intervention, three men mysteriously sculpted a beautiful image of Our Lady.
The first person to come into contact with the image was a blind woman who was cured and many other miracles followed.
